Kitchen and Coffee is a family run café, focused on not only delivering fabulous food and amazing coffee but we also pride ourselves on our fantastic customer service.
Everyone in the K&C family brings something different to the team and have a shared ethos of delivering the highest level of customer service.
We designed and deliver customer service training to every member in our team, to ensure our customers receive an excellent level of customer service, something that we are incredibly passionate about.
Our goal at K&C is to offer great coffee, food and service. So each and every person that walks through our doors has the best experience possible.
We cater for the whole family. We have highchairs and disposable colouring sheets for the kids and for those of you that need to work or keep ‘plugged in’ we offer free WIFI for all customers.
If you just want to drop in and ‘people watch’, the window seats or ‘psychedelic’ Anna Scroll sofas are the place for you: you can watch the world go by whilst enjoying your delicious food and perfect coffee.
Our expansive outdoor seating area is the ultimate sun-trap, ideal for those warm summer days and nights.
Our Signature Espresso blend combines two carefully selected specialty arabica lots from Brazil and Colombia. It is craft roasted to order by hand in small batches to ensure maximum freshness and flavour’ by our local independent coffee roasters, Coffee Central.
The base of the blend comes from one of the larger estates in Brazil. Ipanema has a rich heritage, a founder member of the Brazilian Specialty Coffee Association and a company at the forefront of coffee farming innovation in technology.
Our blend is completed with a coffee from a very small single estate only 35 hectares in total. Finca la Albania is a 100% family owned and run farm. The owner of the farm, Israel, also runs the Racafe drymill who also export his coffee. He has been working there for over 2 decades and certainly knows his green beans! Coffee is his passion.
Coffee runs in the family with Israel’s wife Camila and son Juan Pablo running the La Albania Farm on a day-to-day basis. The coffee is processed using the fully washed method and brings a balance of citrus acidity, red fruit and cherry flavours to round off our blend perfectly.”
In addition to our great Coffee, we also offer a comprehensive selection of speciality teas.
Our chefs all have Fine Dining backgrounds and have vast knowledge and experience gained by working in some of the region’s top restaurants.
We pride ourselves on our ‘homemade’ produce. Everything that we serve at K&C is made fresh and from raw ingredients (locally sourced where possible). K&C cater for all dietary requirements, including gluten free, diary free, vegetarian and vegan. Our head chef Steve is extremely passionate about making everything from fresh and is constantly adapting and diversifying his skills.
If you fancy treating yourself, all our cakes, traybakes and speciality breads are made by our very own in-house baker: Jade. She also ensures that we cater for all dietary requirements, and we try to make sure we have dairy free, gluten free and vegan options available on the counter every day.
Our menus are designed to ensure that there is something for everyone. We serve Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch and Grantham’s best Sunday Lunch.
